I like corn very much. I use it a lot in salads and when I was a child I often ate popcorn, baked corn, polenta and everything made with corn. I made a corn soup, creamy and flavored, enriched with cheddar cheese and some bacon.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cube of fatty butter
  • 6 slices of bacon
  • 1 small onion
  • salt
  • pepper
  • dried thyme
  • 1 potato
  • 350 g sweet corn (corn can)
  • 3 tablespoons of grated cheddar cheese

In a pan, melt the butter and place the bacon slices.

Took the bacon out of the butter and set it aside. In the saucepan, put a small onion minced, over which sprinkle pepper, dried thyme and salt.

After onion become glossy, add 1 potato cut in small cubes and let to cook for 2 minutes.

Unfortunately you cannot find fresh corn in all the seasons and I will use for this recipe corn can. I took a can of sweet corn from the supermarket and drained it into a glass. Then I put the juice from the corn can in the pan on the fire. Add some water and let it boil at medium heat until the potatoes are done.

Add the corn and let it cook 3-5 minutes.

Turn off the fire, let it cool for a few minutes, then transfer the food into a big bowl. Using the vertical blender, make a consistent cream and put it on a small fire and add 3 tablespoons of grated cheddar cheese.

Mix very well and keep the pan on fire until the cheese melts. Finally, add the bacon slices in bowl, over soup. It is a very consistent and delicious soup that should be immediately consumed.
