It is well known that desserts that have a drop of alcohol are very aromatic. Especially those with chocolate. The theme of this week sends us to the wine shelf, and I chose Sangria. Typically, this drink is prepared in the house, based on red wine, but is also found in commerce. For my dessert I used a small glass – in the homemade chocolate and in the thick syrup used above.

Ingredients:

For chocolate:

  • 80 ml sangria
  • 200 gr sugar
  • 120 gr butter
  • 60 gr cocoa
  • 300 gr powdered milk

For glaze:

  • 100 grams of bitter chocolate,
  • 1 tablespoon of soluble coffee
  • 1 teaspoon of rum
  • 120 milliliters of condensed milk
  • 120 grams of honey
  • 70 milliliters of water
  • a tablespoon of gelatin granules

For syrup:

  • 1 handful of craberries
  • 3-4 tablespoons of sangria
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon of honey

First I put on fire a pan with 80 milliliters of sangria and 200 grams of sugar. After the sugar melted and the composition slightly thickened, I added 120 grams of butter.

I mixed slowly until the butter melted, then I gradually added 60 grams of cocoa, stirring continuously while boiling.

Add 300 gr of powdered milk, stirring vigorously

After I obtained a thick and homogeneous texture, I turned off the fire and poured the composition into a square tray. I leave it on the fridge overnight.

After the chocolate has hardened, I have prepared a chocolate glaze and coffee to make the taste more intense. I used 100 grams of bitter chocolate, one tablespoon of soluble coffee, one teaspoon of rum, 120 milliliters of condensed milk, 120 grams of honey, 70 milliliters of water, a spoonful of gelatin granules.

First I hydrated the gelatin in 30 milliliters of water and left for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, I boiled the rest of the water with sugar and honey, at low heat. I boiled for 2 minutes, then I turn off the fire and added the condensed milk, hydrated gelatin, chocolate in small pieces and coffee.

I mixed well until it became homogeneous and became glossy.

I poured through sieve over the homamade chocolate cut in pieces.

For a fresh taste, according to the intense chocolate taste, I made a thick syrup of cranberry and sangria. I took a handful of cranberries, put them on a small fire with 3-4 tablespoons of sangria, 2 tablespoons of sugar and one tablespoon of lemon juice. I mixed with the fork, crushing the cranberries.

After thickening a bit, I took it from fire and squeezed it, then put it on the stove again, adding a tablespoon of honey. I let the sauce to boil at small heat until it thickened.
